I'm Laura, a certified Early Childhood Educator and Preschool Teacher with a Bachelor of Education and over 10 years of hands-on experience shaping the foundations of young learners. My journey began with a deep belief that every child deserves a nurturing environment where curiosity is celebrated and potential is limitless.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with children of all abilities — including those with special needs — using a child-centered, play-based approach that honors each child's unique pace.

What areas does Laura Educare serve?
Laura Educare offers in-home babysitting, tutoring, and special needs support across Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Online tutoring sessions are also available, so families outside Calgary can book virtual tutoring.
What ages of children do you work with?
Babysitting is available for children from 6 months of age. Tutoring focuses on Pre-K to Grade 2 learners, building literacy and numeracy foundations through play-based activities. Special needs support is individualized to each child's needs and IEP.
How much do your services cost?
Tutoring is $35/hour in person or $30/hour online, with 5-session bundles at $160 (in person) or $135 (online). Babysitting starts at $25/hour with a 2-hour minimum per booking. Special needs support is $45/hour. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
Is Laura a certified Early Childhood Educator?
Yes. Laura is a certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE Level 3, Alberta) and Preschool Teacher with a Bachelor of Education and more than 10 years of hands-on experience, including extensive work with children with diverse learning needs.
Do you offer services in Spanish?
Yes. Laura is fluent in both English and Spanish, and can run tutoring and babysitting sessions in either language.
